ROBIN D. LOWENKRON received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. She subsequently attended the University of Houston Law School where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1996.

Following her admission to the Texas Bar in 1996, Ms. Lowenkron began her practice of law with a real estate and commercial litigation firm in Houston, Texas. Ms. Lowenkron has expanded her practice to include insurance defense, insurance subrogation, insurance bad faith, premises liability and workers' compensation. She maintains an active practice in Texas state district courts and before the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission. In addition, she is a certified mediator. Ms. Lowenkron is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

In 1999, Ms. Lowenkron joined the firm of Smith & Carr, P.C., becoming a partner in January 2005.

Ms. Lowenkron frequently speaks at continuing education programs and seminars for insurance professionals and employers.

Ms. Lowenkron is board certified in workers' compensation law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
